The Agriculture Committee works diligently to highlight the AFA’s prominent role in supporting the agriculture sector, optimizing Agri-Nutrients use in the Arab region, and increasing agricultural production while preserving the environment and conserving natural resources, including land and water. We build partnerships with regional and international institutions in areas such as awareness, training, guidance, and agricultural research. also provide technical and scientific support across all aspects of responsible Agri-Nutrients management (mineral fertilizers).

Toward the pioneering role of the AFA in increasing awareness of the strategic and effective role played by the Agri-Nutrients industry (mineral fertilizers) and its advanced guidance in achieving sustainable social and economic development and food security.


Mission
Facilitating the conducive environment to enhance cooperation and collaboration between the AFA and the sectors deriving value from the fertilizer industry, with the aim of promoting economic and social development in member countries. This includes working on the development of agricultural guidance and the optimal use of Agri-Nutrients (mineral fertilizers) in agricultural production. Furthermore, supporting and promoting agricultural research projects related to fertilizers, as well as identifying the economic and agricultural challenges facing the Arab agricultural Agri-Nutrients industry.

Developing knowledge and modern technologies in the field of optimal and integrated fertilizer management, applying them, and transferring them to relevant stakeholders.

Enhancing and clarifying the identity and role of Agri-Nutrients in agricultural development and correcting misconceptions about the impact of fertilizers on the ecosystem.
